UNDER THE RAINBOW Partnership

MHRBUC and Vanessa Prentice of PASS (Prevention Awareness Support Services) have partnered to bring programming to LGBTQIA+ youth in Union County. This collaboration will bring much-needed support to LGBTQIA+ young people.  This collaborative effort has come to fruition as an art club, Under the Rainbow Art Club.  Under the Rainbow Art Club is a FREE club, support group, and a safe space for LGBTQIA+ teens to come and hang out every week, hosted by Vanessa Prentice (Artist, Prevention Specialist, Union County Rainbow Coalition Board member, Marysville Pride Organizer). Teens 13-18 years old can do a weekly art project which is provided or bring their own project. The Art Club often has guest artists and guests from the Marysville community including LGBT leaders and local business owners. There have been visits from therapy dogs and there has been karaoke singing!  There is also a pizza party once a month! Come join us any Tuesday from 6-8pm at the Crooked Door Studio in Marysville!
